7th Pay Commission: HRA and DA of Govt. Staff will Grow ? UPSC has released schedule for civil services preliminary examination 2017, which is going to held in the month of June 2017. The interested and eligible candidates can apply for the examination after release of official notice.The appearing candidates must have a degree from a recognized university incorporated by an Act of Central OR State Legislature in India OR Other educational institution established by Parliament Act OR announced to be deemed university under section-3 of the UGCA), 1956 or have an equivalent degree. Pay Commission for central government employees, house rent allowance cut by 24 per cent is recommended. Sixth Central Pay Commission HRA employees received 30 percent. According to some reports, the Review Committee has recommended not to cut the rate of HRA.
Seventh Central Pay Commission personnel are meeting the Sixth Pay Commission 52 of 196 allowances were recommended to eliminate perks and allowances 36 was asked to merge among themselves. Pay Commission 12 did not change any of the perks.
