Selection Process
GPSC Recruitment 2017 Note:-(1) Disabled Candidates: 1 post is reserved for Disabled Candidates OL (one leg) LorR affected candidate who can move independently and perform duties can apply for the post. Candidates other than prescribed above disability are not eligible for application.
(1) Incase of non-availability of women candidatess in the respective Category, the post so reserved
will be alloted to male candidates of the same Category.
(3) Selection to the posts of Unreserved Category and posts reserved for women candidates thereof
as well as selection to the posts of S.E.B.C. S.C. and S.T. Categories and posts reserved for women
candidates thereof shall be made on the basis of marks obtained in selection process by the candidates of respective categories and also women candidates of that category and on the basis of qualifying standard prescribed by the Commission keeping in view to maintain efficiency of respective service.

(2) A Post Graduate Diploma in Radiology of the Universities established or incorporated by or
under the Central or state Act in india; or possess an equivalent qualifications recognized by the
Medical Council of India and have experience of two years in Radiology Subject in Government
Hospital or owned managed hospital which has been registered with local authority or controlled
by the Non-Government Organisation Hospital or Trust Hospital. OR

(3). M.D. (Radiology) of the University established or incorporated by or under the Central or
State Act in India; or possess an equivalent post graduate qualifications recognized by the Medical

(4) The basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services
classification and Recruitment (General) Rules.1967 as amended from time to time.
(5). Adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/ or Hindi.

1967 or any other Corresponding law for the time being in force at the time of his application for
