Ahmedabad: The High Court has accepted the appeal of challenging the Central OBC list challenging the public interest. The court has issued notice to the parties, including the central and state government, by filing this public interest petition. And the answer is sought. In this petition, objection has been raised to include more than 140 castes in OBC and the government has been opposed to re-evaluating these castes in the OBC category.
The High Court has sought the disclosure of the parties. There will be more hearing on this and the High Court feels that if these castes are included without any survey, then the High Court can order the castes to be removed from the OBC list. As a result, these communities can stop getting the benefits of reservation in government jobs and education.
Public interest has been filed in the High Court with the demand for the removal of certain tribes from the OBC category. The petition for public interest by Ambalal Kantilal Patel of Mehsana has been alleged that the government has included only tribes without any re-evaluation and did not remove any caste from the OBC category. Caste species do not get the benefit of OBC and the stalked species is still misusing the reservation.
