The government will spend 50 thousand rupees per person for the first 48 hours of private or government hospital. This benefit from the government will be given to all the people of the state.

To get this benefit, the treatment expenses bill will be given to the Chief Medical Officer or the Medical Superintendent of the district concerned. The private hospital will get the amount of the bill or the amount of less than 50,000 rupees. The state government has allocated Rs 30 crore under this benefit in 2018-2019. Congress has also welcomed this announcement of Gujarat government. Congress spokesman Manish Doshi said, "This announcement of the government will benefit the poor people."
Apart from this, the government has simplified the process of non-acceptance. Now the applicant will not have to submit maps or plans for non-permanent permission. However, the applicant has to submit the affidavit.
