The Education Department of Gujarat has decided to add new lessons of GST in standard 11 and 12 in the new academic session of the year 2019. About 9 chartered accountants have been asked to include GST in the curriculum.

The complex course of GST will be added as a two-and-a-half lesson in the theory of semantics. The GST topic as a practical in the subject of the account has been included. In order to include GST in the curriculum, the Directorate in charge of GST, in the Department of Finance, has also been consulted. Also, in college courses, GST is likely to be involved in a separate subject.
